Digital Bible Journaling for Beginners Video 3

In today’s video we are going to be creating a fun Bible Journaling page where you will be in a lot more control of what is going on. We will create a fun background using some of the Procreate brushes and then layout a page and add it to a desk background so that it will be ready to share on social media!

Don’t forget to head to the group Growing Your Faith and share your pages! I would love to see them! And don’t forget to grab you FREEBIES!

What you will need:

iPad: https://amzn.to/3Y4Xygj

Procreate: In the app store on your iPad

FREEBIE Files: Download button below

Here is a link to all of the FREEBIES that you will need for this class. I suggest that you download them before you start the video and have them in a folder that will be easy to find.

In today’s class we will start out by talking about our verse, which will be…

Create in me a clean heart, God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10 NASB

We are going to create a ‘screen size’ page. And then we are going to Import our Traveler’s Notebook.

REMEMBER to work non-destructively!!! Create more layers!

I will then talk with you about all of the brushes that Procreate has already installed. We will be using a brush in the “Elements Section” called “Clouds”. Once we have played with the brush a bit, we will erase that and get started.

First, we are going to choose our background color and paint our page.

Then we will be using that Cloud brush to create some cute puffy white clouds.

Then we will drag and drop the rest of our elements in and organize them the way that we like them.

Once we get everything set, we are going to create a clipping mask so that our puffy white clouds do not go over the edge of our pages.

Then we will bring in our desk background and adjust our page the way we like.

Then SAVE and SHARE!

Here is video one…
